Job Description

We’re on the hunt for a content creating wiz who understands the ins and outs of popular social networks, and is comfortable diving head first into posting, tweeting, pinning, and blogging. The Social Media Coordinator will maintain Harling’s online social presence and assist in creating branded communications for social media campaigns, reporting social media performances, and engaging with digital communities (i.e., liking, commenting, responding to inquiries). The coordinator will work closely with the support of external partners and report to the owner to create engaging content aimed at keeping social media channels updated, fresh, and brand-focused.


  • Social media management; tasks include content creation and copywriting across all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and Google my Business.
  • Ensure website is current and up to date. 
  • Keep up to date on the latest trends in digital and social media marketing.
  • Support the Sales Team with their social media activities.
  • Shipping, receiving and merchandising.
  • Liaising with suppliers.
  • Inventory control and data entry.
  • Ecommerce management.


  • You have 2+ years of experience in social media and content creation.
  • You have 2+ years of experience in customer service.
  • You’re highly detail oriented and very organized.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • You have a positive attitude, a real people person with an eagerness to learn.
  • You are someone who is creative, motivated, takes initiative, and is yearning to be a part of something fun.
  • You’re not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and willing to help someone walking in the door.
  • Experience with Shopify and HubSpot are an asset
  • Graphic design skills an asset.
  • Video editing an asset.
