Harling's Jewellers - Claims Process
We strive to make our claims process as simple and efficient as possible for you. Before we can begin, we need to receive a claim from your insurance adjuster. Immediately after we receive your claim, we can get started. First, our Branch Manager reviews the details and matches your claim to one of our experienced associates. From there, here is what you can expect:
One of our associates will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your claim.
We set up an individual appointment for you to address any questions or concerns you may have. We'll also go over a complete list of all your lost or stolen items.
When required, Harling's can draw upon the experience and knowledge of some of BC's most reputable and award-winning goldsmiths to assist us in the process of accurately recreating custom design pieces.
If your claim is on the pre-approved program the process of replacing your jewellery will begin right away. Often during your initial appointment! If your claim is not on the pre-approved program we immediately fax our replacement cost quotes to your adjuster. As soon as we receive approval from your adjuster we work with you to facilitate full replacement.
Pick Up Your New Jewellery
We contact you as soon as your jewellery is ready for pick up. Your new jewellery comes professionally packaged and with a copy of the sales invoice. You also receive copies of all manufacturer warranties and professional appraises where appropriate.
Harling's Comes to You
Can't make it to one of our showrooms? No problem. Call us to arrange for our unique in-home service. We can also arrange for delivery of your jewellery.
If the jewellery portion of your insurance claim contains a policy deductible you will be required to pay this deductible before Harling's can release your jewellery. If you have any questions or concerns about the deductible portion of your claim please contact your insurance representative.
